YOU CANNOT MAKE LEMONADE WITH JUST LEMONS ALONE!

I'm often called the 'bag lady' by my coworkers. Oftentimes I come to work with a large bag, besides my purse. They wonder why I bring in a large bag. I tell them I have necessary items in case of an emergency. Items such as: food, snacks, personal items, a book or two to read (if I have time), my sketch drawing sheets (in case I get an inspiration to draw), and of course my journals. Sometimes, I will bring my small MacAir notebook. I write often and because I now have accessibility to new software and programs, my writing is more easier now then ever.

So this morning I was thinking about doing a post on my blog. (I'm glad I brought in my book today -smile!) So I sat pondering about the topic and the contents. I began to think about water and how I can create a positive blog from just water alone. Then I put on my thinkers cap (which usually never comes off) and it came to me.

'If life gives you lemons, you make lemonade' is the infamous proverbial quote that people uses to inspire themselves or others when they face hard times or not so favorable circumstances. In other words, how to turn a negative situation into a positive situation.

But then I began to focus on this: one cannot make lemonade with just lemons alone. One will need other ingredients such as: water and sugar. The revelation I got is sometimes people don't want to do all the hard work necessary to get from point A to point Z. It requires hard work and resources to accomplish one's goal. It requires dedication and determination to acquire one's goal and just because the other resources one need appears to be out of reach, that is no reason to quit. Don't quit because your goal seems unreachable. Don't quit! If you feel as though others should give you the ingredients or resources you need, then ask for help. Maybe they will; Maybe they won't. But JUST Do NOT quit. If you must, YOU get out there and gather all the ingredients YOU need. You make it happen. Just don't quit!!!
